You may not even know why you feel like you do, you just know you want to do something about it and this is the first step to recovery.
My name is Kathy Mead, I am a fully qualified Psychotherapeutic Counsellor and a member of the BACP. In my practice Counselling Portsmouth-Southsea I offer counselling to both individuals and couples.
I don’t and won’t judge you or tell you what to do. I will give you all the time and space you need to build the trust required, so that you feel that you can share your thoughts with me.
Psychotherapy Portsmouth – Southsea
We can all have times when life feels just too much and our problems can feel too big to deal with on our own. It can be difficult to talk about these things with those closest to us for fear of upsetting others or feeling judged or misunderstood.

As a an experienced Psychotherapeutic Counsellor I can help you with a wide range of issues, such as:
- Anxiety and stress
- Bereavement and loss
- Depression and low mood

- Trauma, such as abuse or rape
- And many more …

A non-judgemental and confidential place
I offer you a safe, non-judgemental and confidential place, to talk, be heard and be able to explore the different thoughts, feelings and emotions that you are experiencing, whatever they might be.
This can lead to greater understanding, insight and acceptance of what might be going on, enabling you to continue with life in a more manageable way, whatever that may mean for you.
Do you have any questions, or would you like to make an appointment? I have appointments available daytime and in the evenings throughout the working week.
